AWARD!

Heroes won Best Band 2009 Award for the Nottinghamshire area.  An evening of glitz and glamour was had by all on Thursday 25th March for all the various catagory winners at Cotgrave Miners Welfare presentation ceremony.  The awards were organised by The Entertainer Magazine and collated from the show of the month reviews over the whole year.

Our thanks go to Norma and Paul and everyone else who made it a great night!

Thanks to Bramley W.M.C. Rotherham

Our heartiest thanks go to all the good folks at Bramley W.M.C. for their kind donations into the Charity collection for the Sheffield Childrens Hospital at our recent gig there.  It really was a pleasure to play in your great club again.

Heroes Did Go To The Ball!

We were invited to play for the Children's Hospital Charity Winter Ball in Sheffield City Hall Ballroom.  It was a great night and we feel very lucky to have been asked. On the night a staggering £65'000 was raised and everyone had a Ball!  We met World Superbike Champion James Toseland (centre) and played for some of the nicest folks around.

Cheers Judd!

Our thanks go to a mystery letter writer in the Sheffield Mercury Newspaper namely, Judd.  Thanks for the kind words of encouragement and it's nice to know we have people supporting Heroes enough to put pen to paper.

Heroes joined in
We were given an initial £50 investment and have to try to raise as much cash for the Children's Hospital Charity as possible.  Our money was used to produce a new CD to sell at all the venues we play. Thanks to all the generous people buying our album and kind donations £1600 was raised and presented to the charity.
